What is Spinal Cord Injury?
A spinal cord injury occurs when the spinal cord is damaged, resulting in partial or complete loss of motor function, sensation, and autonomic function. The severity and impact of SCI vary depending on the level and extent of the injury. A big rehabilitation team work with person with spinal cord injury to bring him/her back in to their normal life. Rehabilitations team comprises with various person from various stream like psychologist/physiotherapist/occupational therapist/social worker/peer counsellor/Nurses etc.
